Trois Bakehouse is a cottage food operation under the Michigan Cottage Food Law. Sales and pickup in Michigan only.
These terms apply to every order from Trois Bakehouse.
We bake for Wednesdays and Saturdays. Orders are picked up from the bread shelf in front of our house in Portage, Michigan, anytime between 7:00 AM and 10:00 PM on your pickup day. We do not deliver or ship. The exact address is sent once your order is confirmed. If you cannot make it, please contact us; bread not picked up on the day cannot be refunded.
Orders close at 8:00 PM two days before the pickup day, because that night we prepare the starter for your bread: Monday 8:00 PM for Wednesday, Thursday 8:00 PM for Saturday. You can order up to 12 weeks ahead. Quantities are limited by what we bake each day.
You can pay online by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link (processed by Stripe), or pay at pickup by cash, Venmo or Zelle. Pay-at-pickup orders are due in full when you collect your bread.
You can cancel for a full refund until 8:00 PM the day before your pickup (Tuesday 8:00 PM for Wednesday, Friday 8:00 PM for Saturday), using the link in your confirmation email or in your account. Card payments are refunded automatically to the same card; banks usually take 5–10 days to show it. After that deadline, please contact us.
The Bread Subscription is an ongoing weekly order for Wednesdays, Saturdays, or both, that renews automatically. You will be charged the price of your plan when orders close for each pickup (8:00 PM two days before) until you cancel. You can skip a date, pause, change, or cancel at any time online until then. If we close on one of your days, that pickup is skipped, you are not charged, and we email you. If a charge fails we will email you; you may update your card or pay at pickup.
Share your personal link or code. A friend who has never ordered from us before (new email address and new phone number) gets the referral discount on their first order. You receive credit once your friend picks up that first order. You cannot refer yourself. Credits are applied automatically to your next purchases, including Bread Subscription charges. Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and may be changed or ended at any time; credits already earned will still be honored.
One code per order. Codes have no cash value and cannot be combined with a referral discount.
Our bread is made with organic flour (and organic flax and chia seeds in the seeded versions), water and salt. It contains wheat. It is made in a home kitchen that has not been inspected by the Michigan Department of Agriculture & Rural Development. Sales are limited to Michigan.
